This Bordeaux style blend delights your nose with aromas of cassis and blackberry. Intially the wine is light on the palate with a background of licorice and raspberry tea notes. As it opens up the flavors are more pronounced and it has a creamy berry finish. 47% Cabernet Sauvignon/24% Merlot/24% Cabernet Franc/ 5% Petite Verdot.

Enjoy the nose of cherry preserves this hearty red gives up to you. The blend of Cab.Sauv, Merlot Sangiovese, Malbec, and Cab. Franc create a wine with many dimensions. Notice the tartness the Sangiovese adds, this creates a lively wine which will pair well with many foods.

Wilridge Merlot from Red Mountain is never a wimpy Merlot. It's a Merlot for people who like Cabernet Sauvignon -- powerful and tannic, but also balanced with nice fruit notes. It also ages for years.
