2005 Syrah - Power & Glory
This blend of 89% Syrah, 6% Mourvedre, and 5% Grenache is our foremost example of these varieties. We blended Rhone grapes from four distinctive appellations to make this cuvee. Syrah from Walla Walla Valley and Red Mountain, Mourvedre from the Wahluke Slope, and Grenache from the Horse Heaven Hills produced this enticing wine of both Power, and Glory.
2007 Tempranillo
Depth of color, flavor, mouth feel; raspberries, not black berries, high palate tones, not plums and cherries - these are marks of Cabernet Franc at its best and beautifully expressed in this vintage.
2006 Merlot- Klipsun Vineyard
Wilridge Merlot from Red Mountain is never a wimpy Merlot. It's a Merlot for people who like Cabernet Sauvignon -- powerful and tannic, but also balanced with nice fruit notes. It also ages for years.
2006 Merlot
No "I'll have a Merlot" light weight kind of wine, this one. It's full of blackberry and cherry and is chewy - not to excess, with oak but definitely a wine that will be enjoyed most by folks who like to carry on a dialog with their wine.
2007 Cabernet "Les Vignes de Marcoux"
Double Gold Medal – Seattle Wine Awards 2011
A staff & regular customer favorite, this cabernet sauvignon is a field blend also containing cabernet franc, malbec and carmenere which were co-fermented into a single wine.
2010 Trinquer
"Trinquer", means to clink glasses in French, and is pronounced sort of like "trank-kay". It reminds us of the celebration wine brings to any meal. Try it with seared scallops, oysters, shrimp, or halibut.
