2008 Melange Red Mt.
Wilridge Merlot from Red Mountain is never a wimpy Merlot. It's a Merlot for people who like Cabernet Sauvignon -- powerful and tannic, but also balanced with nice fruit notes. It also ages for years.
2007 Tempranillo
Depth of color, flavor, mouth feel; raspberries, not black berries, high palate tones, not plums and cherries - these are marks of Cabernet Franc at its best and beautifully expressed in this vintage.
2006 Merlot
No "I'll have a Merlot" light weight kind of wine, this one. It's full of blackberry and cherry and is chewy - not to excess, with oak but definitely a wine that will be enjoyed most by folks who like to carry on a dialog with their wine.
2009 Barbera
The 2009 Cockburn Vineyard is Wilridge's first Barbera and represents Wilridge's return to sourcing grapes from the Walla Walla Valley (where Wilridge founders Lysle Wilhelmi and Paul Beveridge met in 1981).
2006 Grace
For the first time since making Grâce we have blended all five Bordeaux varieties, namely: about 60% Cabernet Sauvignon, about 20% Merlot, and 15% Cabernet Franc, and 3% Malbec and 2% Petite Verdot.
