As always, little oak was used to allow the fruit to speak for itself, and it does! This wine was blended and the “re-barreled” for another year to allow the flavors to fully integrate before bottling. A nose of licorice and fennel is followed by notes of cherry. As it opens up the wine smoothes out and a full middle palate of deep licorice and dark cherries coats your mouth. Composed of 47% Cabernet, 24% Merlot, 24% Cabernet Franc & 5% Petit Verdot this wine is a good cellar candidate. 86 cases produced.
